The Birth of the Idea of the MA-Colors Palettes

The MA-Colors took 3 years to be completed. For that, I’ve used over 65,000 images of every kind of scenery. I was for countless hours in nature and was comparing different screens for the correct white balance on every device.
This project is a direct continuation of the work my dear father started in the 90s. He aimed to create hundreds of color mixtures on canvas, ready for use whenever he needed them. However, the challenge arose as there were so many mixed oil colors, making it difficult to decide what to paint with them. It became a vast collection of potential mixes with oil colors. As a young child at the time, I felt that something was missing, but couldn’t quite figure out what it was. With the MA-Colors, I’ve taken my father’s beautiful idea and expanded upon it..
