My Name is Michael Adamidis. I am a professional artist from Germany (Karlsruhe). I have started passionately to draw since I was a small child with all kind of traditional mediums, and for the last 15 years I am working successfully in the game and entertainment industry as an concept artist and illustrator. I’m married and the father of three beautiful sons.

In that time I’ve learned the great advantages of the Digital Art. So right now I stay focused on this very special and versatile medium. But I am also an expert with pencils, oils & acrylics.
I work with passion and with lots of creativity and artistic inspiration, but also with a decent touch of perfectionism.
I’m doing digital portraits, landscapes, graphic designs/assets, concept arts, digital illustrations, logos, covers for books and games and much more. So, I am open to any kind of commission.

One of my childhood passion is painting portraits of persons. I love every face and I want to draw it. To achieve that same expression of a persons face is bringing me joy. Maybe the face is happy, maybe there is sadness.. has the person a young, shining appearance or is it maybe branded by a hard life. The face is telling so much.. and I love every face. For me everybody is beautiful. The only sadness is when people don’t know this by themselves. The inner self is waiting in their hearts to fill them up, but how can the inner self enter when a person is blocking and denying him/herself? Don’t lose any second of your life wasting it by retaining wrong ideas about yourself and bring the light inside out!

Composing music, especially guitar music, is another part of my work. The combination of painting and making music is just beautiful and it is lifting my life up. I hope soon I can present you some of my music.

Willkommen auf meiner Webseite!
Mein Name ist Michael Adamidis. Ich bin ein Künstler/Grafikdesigner aus Bad Wildbad – Nähe Karlsruhe. Ich bin verheirratet, und wir haben drei wundervolle Söhne.
Als ursprünglich gelernter Wirtschaftsinformatiker kann ich sowohl meine Computerkenntnisse als auch vorhandene künstlerische Fähigkeiten dazu verwenden, um im digitalen Kunstbereich arbeiten zu können.
Seit ungefähr 15 Jahren arbeite ich nun erfolgreich in der Spiele- und Designindustrie als Grafikdesigner, Illustrator und Game/Charakterdesigner.
Angefangen habe ich schon in jungen Jahren mit traditionellen Medien, wie Bleistift, Öl- und Acrylfarben zu malen und konnte diese Leidenschaft im Laufe der Zeit ausarbeiten und perfektionieren. Durch meine berufliche Arbeit am Computer, fing ich mit der Zeit an diese zwei Richtungen zu kombinieren.

In der langen Zeit in der ich als Game Concept Artist gearbeitet habe, lernte ich die großartigen Vorteile der digitalen Arbeit/Kunst kennen. Deswegen konzentriere ich mich im Moment mit meiner Arbeit vor allem auf dieses sehr spezielle und gleichzeitig vielseitige Medium. Die digitale Welt ist derzeit zweifelsfrei stark am dominieren. Trotz allem sehe ich ebenfalls, dass traditionelle Kunst einen sehr hohen Stellenwert hat, und deswegen fließt auch weiterhin diese Richtung in meine Arbeit mit ein.
Ich arbeite mit Leidenschaft und mit hoher Kreativität, und gleichzeitig erhalte ich mir eine dezente Note Perfektionismus.
Ich mache Illustrationen, Visual Designs/Assets, Concept Design, Spiele Designs, Cover, Logos und vieles mehr.

Bevorzugt male ich Portraits, und so habe ich mich im Laufe der Zeit sehr darauf spezialisiert. Dabei geht es mir vor allem darum einem Gesicht den exakt gleichen Ausdruck zu verleihen, den es auch in Wirklichkeit hat. Vielleicht ist der Mensch fröhlich, vielleicht ist er traurig – oder nachdenklich.. vielleicht ist es ein junges, strahlendes Gesicht oder ist es vielleicht ein vom Leben gezeichnetes, älteres aber ausdruckstarkes Gesicht? Das Gesicht drückt so viel aus, und mich fasziniert jedes Gesicht. Für mich ist jeder Mensch wunderschön, und das möchte ich in meiner Kunst ausdrücken.

Musik zu komponieren ist ein weiterer Zweig meiner Arbeit. Die Kombination von malen und musizieren ist großartig und bereichert mein Leben sehr. Ich hoffe, dass ich bald hier auch meine Musik vorstellen kann.
